Great for Kids Of All Ages

It all started when an entrepreneur Al J. Smith Jr. owned and successfully operated Lots and Lots of Tots childcare center located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  

 

During 17 years of operation, Al began getting requests from parents to have his van drivers check to make sure that each of the children had their jackets before they returned them to the childcare center after school.  

 

To remedy the problem, Al asked his staff to pin the children's jackets to their bookbags before leaving the childcare center each morning. Al's idea was such a success that the parents raved about their children never losing a single jacket!! This sparked his idea of the JakPak!  

 

Al, with the help of seamstress Lorett Pendergrast, created the prototype for the first JakPak. With the design help of Ralph Walker (owner of Stone Industries of Atlanta Georgia), the JakPak will have multiple designs and even come in your favorite team, fraternity, sorority, and/or business colors.
